I will be running the London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April to raise much needed funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK. This charity is particularly close to my heart after my Dad passed away in May 2021 after his long battle with Alzheimer’s disease & Vascular Dementia. Sadly my Mum also started showing signs of dementia towards the end of my Dad’s life & she too has been diagnosed with dementia. So many people are affected by this terrible disease, more research needs to be done to find effective treatment & one day a cure.
