Covid-19 Update
RE-OPENING ON THURSDAY 16th JULY
After watching Boris’ announcement on 9th July we are delighted to say that we have now been given the green light to re-open and will do so on Thursday 16th July!!
We are now busy working on our final plans to ensure that we feel confidant that we have done everything required to keep ourselves and our clients safe.
Unfortunately, the announcement did come with restrictions, which means until further notice we will not be able to offer the following treatments:
Facial waxing
Facials
Microdermabrasion
Non Surgical Face Lifts
Eyelash Treatments
Eyebrow Treatments
Facial Electrolysis
Facial Red Vein Treatment
Make Up Application
To ensure that we meet the guidelines for re0opening we have done the following:
– Completed and passed an online course in Infection Control.
– Updated our risk assessments.
– Trained in new health and safety procedures.
– Deep cleaned the salon.
– Placed appropriate signage around the salon.
– Using extra PPE where appropriate
– Allowing time in between appointments to clean all surfaces etc.
If any employees of Ultimate Beauty experience any symptoms of Covid 19 we will have to follow government guidelines which could result in us having to cancel appointments. We ask for your understanding should this happen.
Obviously it goes without saying that things will be different in the salon some of which are listed below:
We ask that if you are experiencing any Covid 19 symptoms (high temperature, a new continues cough, or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste) that you cancel your appointment. You will not be charged, but please do give us as much notice as possible.
A Covid 19 Health questionnaire will need to be filled out prior to your appointment. We hope to get these emailed to as many clients as possible prior to appointments. Wherever possible we ask if you receive one to print it, fill it out and bring with you to your appointment. If this is not possible please bring a pen with you to your appointment.
No waiting will be allowed in the salon, therefore you will be required to wait outside until you are called in (don’t forget your brolly if it’s raining!)
Please come alone for your appointment unless you are accompanying a child. Upon entering the salon you will be asked to wash your hands. There will also be hand sanitiser available to use.
No walk in appointments will be allowed, they must be booked in.
It is not a requirement that clients wear masks/coverings, however we are encouraging clients to do so as of course we will not always be able to maintain a safe distance between therapist and client.
We ask, when it is possible to do so, please maintain as much distance as the space allows. We will not be able to serve any drinks or snacks apart from water in disposable cups. Magazines have been removed.
The toilet will be available to use should you need it. We will clean it after every use.
We ask for contactless payment whenever possible.
For those of you that like to leave a tip this is still possible, cash only please and placed straight into the appropriate piggy.
We will shortly start the huge task of contacting clients, please bear with us whist we’re doing this! We will be starting with our regular clients and clients whose appointments we had to cancel at the start of lockdown and will then continue to work down our list.
